After several years of developing the business model, VHD has the honor of becoming the exclusive SMS provider for Lyko. Lyko becomes VHD's first major customer, and a long-lasting relationship between the companies begins.

The first million
4 years after starting, VHD reaches a milestone and sends 1 million SMS per month.
In 2013 and over a year of work later, Svensk Fastighetsförmedling chooses VHD as their exclusive SMS provider for all bidding and other correspondence between brokers, sellers and speculators throughout Sweden.
On April 9, 2014, the first text message, close to 500,000, was sent from a foreign customer who has his business in Hong Kong.
Ripples on the water
During 2014, VHD grew in number of colleagues and customers. The broker association's Mspecs (broker system) chooses VHD as SMS provider. Today, VHD is one of Sweden's largest suppliers of text messages to the brokerage industry. Large parts of all text messages relating to bidding on housing in Sweden are handled by VHD.
In 2014, plans to move to a newly built office begin. In the past, we have rented offices that did not really reflect VHD and in 2015 we moved into completely newly built premises and can finally work in premises that breathe the same energy as the services and relationships we deliver on a daily basis.
Several retail chains choose VHD
In 2015, several clothing stores such as Dea Axelssons, Dressmann, and Cubus choose VHD to either replace postal mailouts or supplement their campaigns with SMS. Now, volumes are increasing rapidly and we send monthly messages to a large part of the adult population in Sweden. Even today, we continue our collaboration with clients who have clothing stores around Sweden since 2015, which we are extremely proud and happy about.
The first foreign aggregator
In the autumn of 2015, VHD achieves another milestone by signing a bilateral agreement with another SMS aggregator in a different country. We are entrusted to process all SMS messages going from that country to Sweden, and the volume increases even more.
In the spring of 2016, our founder Fredrik Nero was nominated for Young Entrepreneur of the Year (under 30) by Företagarna.
During September 2016, we sent the largest invoice (not the amount) to our amazing partner in the west. It was received with a lot of laughter and over time we had quite funny conversations between our joint customer cases.
We won't be able to fit
We no longer have space in the office and are therefore starting to plan for a new office. This time we are involved from the beginning and get to design our own office. Everything from toilets, meeting rooms, office spaces to chill rooms. Unbelievably funny.
In 2017, a new era begins and a certain change of focus takes place. VHD will now become the small business owner's supplier. Together with wonderful people, our pay-as-you-go platform Voyer is designed and built, which is 100% automated from sign-up to SMS sending.
As a complement to our core business (sms), our Digital Coupons see the light of day. One of the first customers to try our Digital Coupons is Coop. Now, for example, Eko Stormarknad, Möbelmästarna, Mekonomen and several others have run campaigns with Digital Coupons.
February 2018 we move into our current new office. Bigger than what we need with the goal of growing.
VHD has always been a family business, and it still is a family business. In 2018, a long-term dream and milestone were achieved by reaching a turnover of over 10 million SEK. VHD has always grown organically, without external investments.
Addition of services
Ongoing during 2018, several services are added to complete our service portfolio, without compromising on the usefulness and combination of our core services. We started delivering all of Sweden's consumer and business data, vehicle registers, dog registers, the housing register and credit information services. To help our customers in a simple way in the entire sales process.
In 2019, we become an approved supplier to Kantar Sifo and make our SMS services available to them.
Furthermore, in 2019, we have the great honor of becoming the exclusive SMS provider to the billion-dollar company, Sportamore.
Increases by 62%
2019 ends in the best possible way. We are increasing by 62% compared to 2018. The turnover goes from 10 million to over 16 million. In the meantime, we also gain new colleagues, new bilateral collaborations with foreign aggregators, continue our development of Voyer, expand our partnerships and help our customers sell more.
2020 starts well and becomes incredibly exciting when we launch our customer loyalty hardware, which we call PRO. With PRO, our customers can quickly and easily create their own customer club by, for example, collecting mobile numbers.
Becomes a supplier to Stadium
At the end of 2020, which has largely been marked by despair and difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have the great honor of becoming the exclusive supplier of SMS services to Stadium throughout the Nordics.
